Return & Refund Policy

Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please notify us, we might request you to share the picture of the rug at ornatehandicrafts@gmail.com.

Terms & Conditions
  • Return the item within 7 days of the receipt.
  • Return in the same condition in which it was delivered to you.
  • Do not use, wash, alter/tamper or soil the rug.
  • A damaged item will not be eligible for return.
  • Item must have the original packing, labels and tags intact, altered and illegible serial number will also void return.
  • We will initiate the refund or replacement once the item passes through quality inspection.
  • Return shipping cost will be borne by buyer .

Returns/Replacement in event of Damaged or defective item
  • In case you receive a damaged/defective item, notify us within 48 hours of receipt. We might request you to share the picture of the rug at ornatehandicrafts@gmail.com. We will replace it without any cost after examine the returned items.

Defects outside product warranty entitlement
  • Shedding, which can be reduced by vacuuming the rug at low power mode at least once a week
  • Occasional sprouting pulls or loss of single tufts of fiber
  • Color and texture changes due to the use of natural fibers and dyes or prolonged exposure to sunlight, humidity, heat, or certain atmospheric gases
  • Rolling marks can disappear with routine vacuuming
  • Matting and crushing in rugs, which can be minimized by proper maintenance of the rug
  • Rugs recently removed from a bag may have odor which can dissipate by placing the rug (back side up) in direct sunlight for 24 hours

Refunds (if applicable)
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at ornatehandicrafts@gmail.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
  • Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
