Will there be color variation in the rug?

Hand-made rugs are one-off pieces of functional art, and because each one is unique, there can be subtle variations in color due to the natural fibers and dyes being used.

Why is my rug shedding ?

Shedding is normal for natural fiber rugs like jute. It will diminish with regular vacuuming. Our hand-braided construction is specifically designed for high-traffic areas to minimize wear.

Are jute rugs scratchy or soft enough for a bedroom?

Unlike industrial-grade options, our handmade rugs use premium natural fiber that is sun-dried for a softer finish. This creates an organic texture that is gentle on bare feet, making them a perfect choice for bedrooms and nurseries.

Will you suggest a good rug for my living space?

Yes, of course. Our design consultants will suggest the best possible options for your requirement. Please share pics & dimensions of your room.

For most standard living rooms, an 8x10 jute rug is the ideal size to anchor your furniture. We offer custom sizing to ensure your natural fiber rug fits your space perfectly

Our jute is a rapidly renewable plant fiber that is 100% biodegradable. Because each rug is hand-braided by artisans rather than mass-produced in factories, it has a lower carbon footprint and supports ethical craftsmanship in Rajasthan.

Every Ornate Handicrafts rug is handmade and hand-braided by our team of local artisans in India. This traditional process ensures an organic texture and quality that mass-produced rugs cannot replicate

Are the rug colors on the website reliable?

Yes, the rugs showcased on the website are in true colors. However, depending on the resolution of your device's screen, there might be slight variation in the color of the actual rug and it's website image.

How can I prevent my carpet from slipping while walking on it ?

A rug pad makes all the difference. It provides stability, protects your floors, and adds extra cushioning for comfort under bare feet

What if my rug is damaged, defective in any way, or just not the item I ordered ?

Each of our rug goes through strict quality checks before it is dispatched. However, in case the rug is damaged in transit, we request you to share with us the pictures of the damaged part ,as soon as you receive the rug, at ornatehandicrafts@gmail.com, along with your order ID. After receiving your email we will ensure resolution within 2-3 working days.

Is it possible to buy the rug on installments?

Apologies, we are not offering financing currently. 

Do I have to pay additional taxes and duties on the website prices?

Product pricing displayed on the site are per piece/set, inclusive off all taxes levied.

There are customs related duties and local taxes applicable, which may vary between 2-30% of the price, depending on the laws of respective countries. This has to be paid by you to our shipping partner at time of delivery.

How can I make a change in my order or cancel my order ?

Any change or cancellation is only possible if the information is received before the order gets dispatched. Please get in touch with us for the same at ornatehandicrafts@gmail.com

Do you ship Worldwide?

Yes. We provide worldwide shipment through FedEx. 

How long will the rug take to ship?

We usually ship within 1-2 working days after receiving the order, delivery usually happens within 3-5 working days.

What is your Return Policy?

Return policy is applicable on manufacturing defects only.

This does not apply to clearance items. In case of non-manufacturing defects, the shipping cost for the return has to borne by the customer.
