Item smelled overwhelmingly of rose perfum...

Item smelled overwhelmingly of rose perfume. It was so strong it leeched through the plastic wrapping and smelled through the box. My whole apartment was coated in the scent, and I'm sensitive to smells. It was horrible. I attempted washing it to remove the smell and the tassels were not up for it. The dye went everywhere. By the time I was done washing it the entire blanket was a different color. Overall a disappointing experience. If you don't mind strong smells and using items without washing them, it did look exactly like the picture when I first received it.
