Inspired by the legendary Moroccan wedding blanket — a textile tradition where handwoven throws are gifted as symbols of abundance and new beginnings — our version is made entirely by hand by our team of weavers and women artisans in India. Every thread, every sequin, every centimeter of fringe is placed by a human hand. No machines. No shortcuts.

Regular — 140 x 200cm / 55 x 80 inches — $179 Best for: Single bed, sofa throw, accent piece. Fringe length extra (20-21 cm) which is not included in measurements.

Large — 170 x 230cm / 67 x 90.5 inches — $194 Best for: Queen bed, large sofa, layered bedroom look. Our most ordered size. Fringe length extra (20-21 cm) which is not included in measurements.

Not sure which size? The large works beautifully on a queen bed with generous overhang, or draped over a large corner sofa.

Two styles available:

🤍 Natural — warm, undyed cotton tone. Works beautifully in neutral, organic, and Scandi interiors.

🤍 White — crisp, bright white with the same hand-tufted pattern. Perfect for coastal, boho, and maximalist spaces.

Note: The without-sequin version is available in Large (170x230cm) only.

The craft behind it

This throw begins on a handloom where our weavers create the base cotton fabric using traditional techniques. Once woven, the decorative pattern is hand-tufted — a process where loops of yarn are individually pulled through the base fabric by hand to create texture and depth.

The sequins are then hand-sewn one by one. Finally, the fringe lace — also handmade by our team of women artisans — is sewn onto all four sides to finish the piece.

From loom to fringe, each throw takes days to complete. That's what you're holding when it arrives.

Dry clean only. The hand-tufted texture and hand-sewn sequins require gentle handling to preserve their character. Store flat or loosely folded to maintain the fringe shape.
