A little at first, as with all natural fibres. Regular vacuuming (suction only) settles this within a few weeks.

Is jute soft underfoot?
Yes. Jute is the softest of the natural fibre rugs, much softer than sisal or seagrass, which is why customers use it in bedrooms and nurseries.

Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?
Outdoors, yes, in covered, dry spots like a sheltered porch or patio. Jute absorbs moisture, so keep it away from rain, damp ground and bathrooms.

How do I clean it?
Shake it outside, vacuum with suction only, and blot spills straight away. Avoid soaking it or using steam cleaners.

What size should I choose?
